Homeowners insurance built for Arkansas weather

Hail in April, straight-line winds in June, ice in January. Central Arkansas homes take real weather — and the difference between a good policy and a cheap one shows up the day you file a claim.

What good coverage looks like

Four questions we answer before we quote your home

1. Would your dwelling coverage actually rebuild the house? Building costs have climbed a lot. We look at replacement cost, not market value, so you're not short the day you need it.

2. How does the policy treat your roof? Some pay full replacement cost; others knock off depreciation for age. On a hail claim that difference can run into five figures, so we'll show you which one your quote uses.

3. Are the deductibles set up right? A lot of Arkansas policies carry a separate wind/hail deductible that's a percentage of your dwelling coverage. You ought to know that number before storm season, not after.

4. What isn't covered? Flood and earthquake are separate policies. If you're near the Arkansas River or sitting low in Pulaski County, we'll tell you straight whether you need them.

  • Homeowners (HO-3 and HO-5) policies
  • Renters and condo unit-owner policies
  • Landlord and rental property coverage
  • Mobile and manufactured home policies

After the storm

When hail comes through, you call our office — people down the road who know your policy — not a national call center. We'll help you document the damage, get it filed quickly, and make sense of the settlement.

Home and auto together is the discount that does the heavy lifting

Putting home and auto insurance together is normally the biggest discount there is — and because we're independent, we can do it with whichever carrier prices your combination best.
